Meet in the ‘free’ carpark [they just ask for a donation] close to the crossroads in Monyash [GR 150666] for this approx. 7 mile walk. After partially circling Monyash, checking on the tadpoles, and going through Icky Picky Lane [!] we’ll head southeast, initially on the Limestone Way and then across several fields, before turning northwards through two farms and Cales Dale down to Lathkill Dale. After a steep ascent, the path takes us through another farm, past an ancient burial ground and down Ricklow Dale to re-join Lathkill Dale, and then finally Bagshaw Dale to take us back to our cars. There are several uncomplicated options of peeling off early and having a shorter walk if wanted.
