Langdale meet. Nights of Thursday 31st July to Saturday 2nd August.
We have booked Raw Head cottage in Langdale. Excellent for climbing on Gimmer, Pavey Arc, White Gyll, Raven Crag, Bowfell etc. And, of course, walking. And a great hut.
If you would like to go please let me know and for how many nights by 16th May, and pay the Castle Account. The hut fee is £9 per night for Fell and Rock club members, and £18 for non-members.
It would be very helpful if some other F&R members could commit to the trip, so we have a set of keys for the building. And also because I’d like to be helping on a scout trip in Scotland which clashes.
I know it seems a way in advance but if we don’t get enough interest I’ll cancel the hut booking in time so someone else can use it and we could substitute it with a camping meet. The last hut meet we ran was not well supported.Reply to geoffnichols1955@gmail.com.
