Alps – Vanoise from 28th June

A very useful guide book is Mountain Adventures in the Maurienne, by Andy Hodges. This has day walks up to pd, via ferratas, and rock climbs at amenable grades. It is also a good area for mountain biking. So lots for everybody. There is also the option of a hut-to-hut walk in Trekking in the Vanoise, by Kev Reynolds and Jonathan Williams. We’ll set up a whatsapp group for Alps 2025
