Meet at GR 301850 just inside the park gate at the top of Quiet lane where it meets School Green Lane and Whiteley Lane in Fulwood, Sheffield. Buses 120 and 83a will take you to Fulwood shops on Brooklands Ave /Crimicar Lane, about 0.5k away. Parking on nearby side roads eg Brookland Ave, Whiteley Lane or at Forge Dam. Ask me for more directions if needed.
The walk goes via in the Mayfield and Porter valleys then to Oxstones and Rudd Hill on an occasional path that may be new to you (or maybe not!) Approximately 7.5miles, usual 11am start. All welcome.
Anyone wanting a shorter walk (about 4miles) could meet at car park near the alpacas, but let me know first.
