    HI All,
    This Sunday climbing meet is at Wharncliffe, near Deepcar.
    The climbing is good, rock is solid and approached from parking in around 20 minutes.
    Grades for everyone, and a spot of caving thrown in.
    It may comes as a bit of a shock to the system for those of you back from Sicily.
    I will be on station Road up from the club from 10.15, departing for the crag at 10.30.

    If you intend to come earlier or later and are not familiar with the crag, I suggest that you make your way to the top Left hand end and access the climbing areas from the top. Walking along the foot of the crag is very hard work.
    If it is raining I will cancel for another time.

    Forecast isn’t promising but, I live in Oughtibridge so should be able to meet up one way or the other.

    Wharncliffe is my local crag (to Grenoside) and I’m ashamed to say that I’ve never climbed there, yet.

    Hi All
    Going to give Wharncliife a Miss today.
    Heavy rain is expected.
    Will do it again at a later date .
