Meet at the Upper Derwent Visitor Centre (Fairholmes) cafe (GR SK173 893) for an 11 am start. Paid parking either there or in the laybys above, so worth car sharing (I can offer 3 places). 8 mile route up to Lost Lad, then Sheepfold Clough and Abbey Clough back down to the reservoir track. Great views if it’s clear – let’s hope!
