Meet at Beeley Top above Hell Bank plantation (287681) road side parking above closure at Beeley. Best access probably from Wardlow Wells on the A619 because the road from Holymoorside has also been closed at times.
We will do the loop to Robin Hood, hopefully the bog will not be too bad. (As a late volunteer I have not had chance to pre- walk.) Roughly Hob Hurst’s House, Robin Hood, Dobbs Edge then back through Stand Wood and the rabbit warren. Will be close to the 8 miles depending on which route we take through Chatsworth. Dippers may wish to drop out at the Emperor Lake.

4 of us completed 8 miles as planned. The bog was less problematic than usual. The Emperor Lake remains part drained, presumably linked to work on The Cascade. The weather dried up as we walked resulting in a very pleasant day.
