Get your clipsticks out, it’s the first sport climbing meet of the year!
Venue: Horseshoe Quarry
Meet: 10.30am at the Chocolate Blancmange Area
Directions: 1km out of Stoney on the A623; left turn 0.8km after the Eyam junction. Parking on the track leading up to the Quarry.
As the name suggests, the Blancmange area isn’t the most inspiring area of Horseshoe but it has well-bolted routes at amenable grades.
NB The forecast at the moment is for rain all day. If the forecast is still bad on Saturday evening I will post an indoor alternative on WhatsApp.
