Next Sunday climbing and bouldering a Harborough Rocks. A great early season venue, south facing and quick drying. The most accessible dolomitic limestone crag the Peak. The BMC guide describes it as beautiful and friendly trad, soloing and bouldering.37 routes and 36 boulder problems. Most are in the lower grades.
Location is 1.5 km NE of Brassington village and 5 km SW of Cromford. Grid Ref: SK 242552. Park 100m East of the obvious factory entrance. We aim to be there by 10am.
If you need a lift or can offer one, please get in touch. David

Sunday looking OK for Harborough Rocks. Should be a cool dry day. If you ordered a copy of ‘True Grit’ I will have some with me. David

A day without rain! 10 of us made it to Harborough Rocks. A cool dry day, warming up when the sun came out and cooling down when the wind got up.
Plenty of routes and boulder problems done. It did seem like we were in the middle of a war zone with two different clay pigeon shoots and the factory making a lot of noise. We all survived. Role on summer! David
