    Come and explore the historic landscape around Stanton and Harthill Moors – Bronze and Iron Age constructions, a 14th century hermit’s cave, the legacy of an eccentric Victorian vicar and much, much more. Approx 8.5 miles. Meet on Main St, Birchover (GR:240622, parking on the road) for a 10:00am start..     Reminder: this Sunday 7th. Meet on Main St, Birchover by the Red Lion pub. for a 10:00am start. Please note that the back road from Stanton Lees to Birchover is closed. As of yesterday the walk isn’t too muddy and the forecast for Sunday is looking quite good. Please confirm by Friday evening if you are coming along.
