10 of us and one dog set off from Redmires, up to stanage pole, along Stanage edge towards high neb. Coffee stop in a small hut away from the edge offering shelter from the wind. Continued to the Conduit where 2 of the team took a shorter route. Onward down to Wyming brook, choosing the easier track back to Redmires. One of the team offered a rout back to the cars which would keep us off the road which I accepted, which resulted in a bit of off piste heather bashing and a slightly longer distance than planned.
