A glorious winter’s day encouraged a large turnout of 18 for this walk. The sun, blue sky and mostly frozen bog were perfect for the route via Lady Cannings Plantation to Ox Stones (bouldering by some) then Rud Hill, White Stones and Redmire reservoirs with only a minor diversion caused by a brief orientation failure of mine. The stops selected for views rather than shelter from any bitter breeze, were fairly short. Two members of the party cut back from Rud Hill and another 2 declined the diversion through Brown Edge farm otherwise we all completed the 7.3 miles.
Many thanks to all who could join in.
