Out on a Limb and back with a Porter. Meet at the car park at the bottom of Lady Cannings plantation (GR SK 291837, additional parking in layby opposite Norfolk Arms or layby at GR286840 on road NW from Ringinglow) at 11am for an edge of town stroll down the Limb valley, over the ridge and back up the Porter valley. A tad under 8 miles for the full circuit, but with multiple shorter variants for any who want them. Mostly on good path, so only a mud factor 5 Mr Sulu. Hopefully a nice head-clearer between the indulgences of Christmas and New Year.
