Walk Report
5 of us set out on our route thus:-
Gardoms tops, crossed Chesterfield/Baslow road near the Robin Hood pub, up along the top of Chatsworth Edge where we had our coffee break. Two of our number then departed for a shorter route back to Baslow while the remaining three proceeded to Baslow via the Hunting Tower. Lunch taken near the lodge. Major climb after Baslow to Baslow Edge and back to the cars via Wellington’s memorial.
Autumn colours superb, stags spotted on the Big Moor and no rain despite the poor weather forecast.
