A small group of 6 (including me ) met at the laybye near Birchover. I made a change to he route, because of Wednesday`s rain, and I know what some of the paths in the valley are like. Before the start we watched the antics of a pair of Kestrels, then headed off on the Limestone way to Elton. Along downhill lane lead to Dale End, for coffee, then on to Yougreave for lunch.
This was followed by the long uphill to Cratcliff Tor, where 2 members decided to attempt a scramble. The rest of us returned the cars, where we were again entertained by birds of prey, this time 4 buzzared. A but fairly short walk
