Thursday walk March 24th, Derwent

Meet at the last car park layby before Fairholmes (SK 172872) for an 8 mile circuit mostly on track. We’ll go up through the woods then down past Rowlee Farm and across the A57 to view the landslip from a distance before ascending toward Hope Cross. Down through the woods before the Cross then along the bottom to recross the river and walk along a traffic-free A57 to the bridleway up through Grimbocar Wood. Then it’s just along the top and down again to the cars. See you there?
