As I expldained before,the hut has 16 places and we will be billed for the full 16 regardless of the actual number attending.
Currently 6 people have agreed to attend ! This would mean a loss to the club of £200!
A possible alternative to cancelling the meet would be to follow the practice currently being adopted by Fell & Rock (to reduce the Covid risk) of limiting numbers attending huts to half the available maximum and with negative lateral flow tests being required.
If we adopt this practice we would only need 8 members ,but to avoid a loss to the club each member attending would need to pay double the overnight cost_ie £20 per night & £40 for the week-end.
Please can those wanting to attend let me know if they would agree to this arrangement_otherwise I will cancel the hut booking.This would mean the club losing it’s depositof £50,unless the Oread club will agree to return it.
