facebook page and group

Hi, Some of you may have noticed that we now have Castle Mountaineering Club facebook Page as well as a Group. There are several reasons behind this and it’s fairly standard practise for clubs.
What’s the difference? If you think of the analogy of your front and backgardens.
Facebook Group – this is for people you invite into your back garden for a bit of members chat etc. (a lot of the WhatsApp messsages would fit in here).
Facebook Page – this is your front garden. This is where passerby get to see what the club is about. This is a place for annoucements and events. A bit like a notice board.
So like and follow both. Don’t worry if it’s a little confusing. If you ‘like’ and ‘follow’ both then you shoudl recieve notifcation from either when anything gets posted.
