This walk starts from Peak Forest. Park on the road just past the chapel SK114795.
The route climbs up past disused mine workings with Eldon Hill on the left. We then descend to Oxlow House and via Windy Knoll to Rushup Edge. Joining the Pennine Bridleway the route returns to Peak Forest via Perry Dale.
