Nine cheery CMC members met on Bretton Edge and did their best to see if Tom Cruise was down in Darlton quarry waiting for his train (Mission Impossible 7).
Enjoying fabulous views from Hucklow Edge, we crossed near Abney Grange to Abney moor. After a coffee/tea break we enjoyed watching gliders and listening to sky larks, walked along green paths around the edge of Abney moor/ Offerton Moor and relaxed having lunch looking over Abney. Route back via Cockey Farm and the clough, climbing through golden gorse up to Nether Bretton.
Some intrepid members decided to sample the ales and enjoy the views from The Barrel. Lots of sheep and lambs, wild flowers and bursts of sunshine throughout and not a drop of rain!
