“Puddings and Palaces” is the stolen title of this walk. As Mike is visiting Dark Peak on 18th April, I have decided to lead a walk in the White Peak. Meet 9.30am Bakewell on junction Coombs Rd and A619 (NE side bridge) GR 221686k. Note earlier time than usual due to parking availability. Parking on Coombs Rd or in various car parks/streets around town.
Distance 8 miles of easy walking taking in woods and fields around Chatsworth House estate and along River Derwent.
