Thanks AliDecember 18, 2020 at 11:31 am #16260Pat & MartinParticipantDear All,
Please accept Pat and my apologies for such a short appearance at the party. We were just looking forward to seeing the slides, when Windows gate-crashed at our end, and we were suddenly frozen out (despite our nice warm Santa Claus hats!). An attempt to re-join almost succeeded, but Windows had other ideas, and soon after, the laptop crashed. All attempts to restart left us staring at a blank screen with revolving circles – our eyes were following suit.
As you can tell, we have today re-joined “the land of the living”, and an important switch has been turned on that bans Windows from any interference between the hours of 17.00 and 08.00. In the meantime, we hope you had a jolly fine party, and also have a great Christmas and New Year.
Martin and Pat.
December 18, 2020 at 12:03 pm #16261Alison MilneParticipantTHANK YOU
To all members who attended thank you. A Zoom Christmas is not the same without seeing people face to face but we hope that we created some festive cheer for you all to enjoy.
Special thanks to all the contributors – Andrew, Gordon, Chris K, Elen, Linda, Russ, Lynne and John.
Such a shame that Pat and Martin were only able to stay with us for such a limited time.
Please have a happy and peaceful Christmas and hope we can look forward to a better New Year in 2021.Ali x
