A new venue for me, 23 mins from home according to Google maps.
Start at SK 241962, appx postcode S36 3ZA. Off road parking for appx 10 cars.
6 miles with 700 feet of ascent, sounds an interesting walk, courtesy of Andy Chaplin in “Walking Britain”.
Further details (or alterations) after I’ve recced later this week, weather and body permitting.

I’ll endeavour to be at the parking spot by 10.30, look out for pale blue Vauxhall Insignia with Castle windscreen stickers.
Having done the walk a few weeks ago I can promise a varied route of moorland, woodland, farms and country house grounds plus some surprises.
