Meet at the Derwent Overlook free car park just south of Fairholmes (GR:174 889) for the usual 11:00am start. The walk goes up to Lockerbrook, down to Rowlee Farm and Alport Bridge then up to Alport Castles before returning down the ridge to Lockerbrook and Fairholmes. Approx 7.5 miles, 600m of ascent
