Report for cycle ride 21st October

Sunny but chilly to start, slight drizzle and a rainbow to finish and a mountain rescue team in action part way round (not involving us). Before we started, one bike had a puncture and then an irreparable hole in the tyre was also found. So that left 3 of us to cycle a zig zag route from Monyash via Chelmorton, Sparklow, Wheldon Trees, Pilsbury to Hartington, then direct route back up Long Dale. 20.7 miles with 1750 ft of ascent, so virtually flat. Thanks for the company.
