16 (including a returning member back from Japan) enjoyed a humid but sunny day from Monyash via Over Haddon and Mill Dale to Lathkill Dale. We all learned something about the flora of these limestone dales. Martin had the best book and took photographs. John shared his knowledge of the 183 types of grass and also of many flowers. We rediscovered the scents of childhood in Pineapple Wort, Meadow Sweet, Thyme and Marjoram and saw the Jacob’s Ladder – at a distance! Some walked almost 7 miles others a little less. Tea and cakes at the end for many. Thanks to all for participation. Chris
