This Tuesday’s midweek climbing has been advertised as Dovestone Tor. A number of people would prefer a closer venue for an evening. So tomorrow there will be a meet at Horseshoe Quarry, Upper Buttress (as it was rained off there last week). Please post on WhatsApp as usual to arrange timings. I don’t know if anyone went up to Dovestones, but as far as I know, only Hugh and myself turned up at Horseshoe, though we climbed on the lower tier, having borrowed a guidebook to find vaguely suitable routes. Good workout at top of our grades. Definitely need a guidebook (or a new one in Hugh’s case).
