Meet just below the Snake Inn on the A57 – GR114905 – parking in the [hopefully empty] laybys there. After a short walk up the road, we’ll enter the woods and head westwards up Ashop Clough, before turning at Ashop Head to follow the northern edge of Kinder Scout eastwards to Fairbrook Naze, and then descend Fair Brook back to the A57.
