I am keeping an eye on the weather. There is a chance of rain and I do not have Linda’s ability to make it go away, but here’s hoping.
I will be in the New Bath Hotel (free) car park until 10:30. I will then go to the crag and position myself in the Golden Yardstick area. I will be easy to find, and easier to hear! There are lots of nice routes in that area in the HS grade and many other very nice routes on the crag of all grades.
To get to the crag from the car park, walk to the end of the path from the entrance and down the little path to the road. Please do not climb over the wall as a shortcut. There are some problems being caused by this. Turn down the access road to the river, cross the footbridge and turn right along the riverbank. Watch for a path rising steeply to your left. Follow this until you see the remains of a stone gate. The crag path goes through the gate and underneath the crag. I will be up on the left about 100m along this path.
I look forward to seeing you all there and to us all having fun on the amazing and spectacular routes available.
I spent a couple of hours pruning rosebushes out of some of the more fun routes ready for this meet.

The chance of rain appears to be moving into Saturday evening and away from Sunday. Linda is obviously bending her mind to the project.
