Walk report Thu 15th Feb

7 of us met near Ashopton viaduct on a lovely winter day to walk up below Crook Hill and enjoy stunning views across to Whin Hill and eventually Kinder. We managed to take our breaks in spots sheltered from the sharp, cold wind, getting positively warm on the way down to Fairholmes. The water coming over Derwent Dam was a sight to behold, I recommend checking out any pictures, and kept us enthralled for quite some time before we returned to the viaduct along the reservoir track. 7.5 miles. Thanks to all for your company and special thanks to Steve and Sean for saving me from getting the map out.
