Given that some of the more regular mountain bikers are in Spain, we’ve chosen a gentle ride. So come and join us on a 16 mile moderate mountain bike ride around the Churnet Valley (just down the hill from the Roaches…).
Around 60% off road, generally on good tracks and only 750ft of ascent (although some muddy field section is mentioned in book) Churnet Valley has been known as Little Bavaria because of its fine wooded hillsides and mock castles.
