Meet at Parking area on minor road west of Barber Booth at GR 108 847 There is alternative parking below viaduct 200 metres to west. Distance approximately 11km (Just over 6 miles) Route Ascend Broadlee Bank up onto Kinder then Grindslow knoll, Kinder low and return by Jacobs ladder
We will pass very close to 2 aircraft crash sites so will visit them
Usual start time see you there13 of us set out in excellent conditions accompanied by 2 dogs who were very well behaved and kept their owners on leads much of the time
Weather sunny and warm but with strong south easterly winds which were especially noticeable on Swine’s back
A couple of air crash sites were visited which led to much interest and discussion.the only other notable event was damage to the leaders car after an argument with a large pot hole.
