Meet at the free car park near the museum in Eyam. Current plan is to head via Highcliffe, past Jubilee Plantation to Stoke Ford, Highlow Brook, Tor Farm and back via Eyam Moor and a bit of Sir William Hill Road. We haven’t walked this yet but will check out fully before next Thursday! Apparently it’s just over 7 miles. Anyone with more local knowledge welcome to give advice.

There were 11 of us on this walk from Eyam (car park by museum). Up the stony lane to Highcliffe, along the road a bit and then another stony lane before turning off to skirt around Jubilee Plantation. overlooking Bretton Clough. Coffee with a view before descending through the woods to Stoke Ford. Took path above Highlow Brook through the woods, passing a giant ant hill and a few partridges. Rain was coming on as we had our lunch on the path before Tor Farm and it drizzled continuously for the rest of the walk. Bracken almost above our heads on Eyam Moor. Walked a short section of Sir William Hill Road before descending through the fields and back into Eyam via the churchyard. Welcome tea / cake stop in Eyam tea rooms, giving us a chance to dry out a bit. About 7.5 miles by the time we got back to the car park. Thanks everyone for your company. Nick and Bron.
