A fine day, fine walk, fine views, fine company, a magical mossy oak wood and I’m pleased to say some new paths for all 11 of us. Covid 19 advice was noted and resulted in walking well apart from each other, tapping the end of each others poles as a new means of greeting, wearing gloves to open gates/ climb stiles. The route was as follows: Hordron edge NE, moorland to reach a row of wooden grouse butts leading towards Moscar/ Stanage End path, more stone butts west across Moscar Moor, paths to near the sighting pillar overlooking ladybower, through an oak wood, new path to Heatherdene and finally a nature reserve back to Cutthroat bridge. Approx 7miles. Thanks to all who could join in.
