15 members braved the mud and car park fees and were rewarded with an unexpectedly sunny day.
From Tideswell car park we headed down Tideswell dale and turned right into Millers dale. Dragging a reluctant member past the pub we walked up the limestone way, Monks dale being deemed too muddy and awkward for even a mountaineering club!
After a walking up the hill we had an early lunch (yes, no coffee break) and continued up the wet and muddy path path to Wheston. A green lane led to the hill above Tideswell where we dropped down into the village to where a few members had left their cars. A short hop back to the car park concluded the walk of 7 miles. A very pleasant walk, the only excitment was the meet leader inexplicably sitting in a flower bed when she backed away from the gate by the farmyard. Luckily there are no photos!
Thanks to all who participated.
