This trip will take place from Sat 6th- Sat 13th August or any start or finish date in between. Originally I was planning this as a cycling only trip for a small group but it was suggested that many club members might be interested. The cycling comes highly recommended by members of the Chesterfield Spire Cycling Club who were there in August last year. There is also good walking and even some climbing. Taking cars on to the island is quite expensive but there is a good public transport system including a bus service which passes the campsite I’m hoping to use (Glenlough, three miles west of Douglas). I’ll circulate more details of campsite, ferry and transport later. In the meantime it would be useful if you would let me know if you are interested either via the messageboard, email or on one of the Thursday walks so that I have an idea of numbers when I talk to campsite owners etc
