Must admit we didn’t check the Meets List but should work really well! An hour’s abseiling then sit and pick books about routes which need abseils.
We’re still going to pub for tea first though, hope not to get into abseiling off situations again, been there, done that.

Above is route of Sunday’s Half Marathon which means road closures so need to plan to avoid in order to reach Stanage from Sheffield.

Paul.I’ve booked in on a non electric tent pitch for myself as Vanda is away walking the SW Coadt Path so we will be about as far apart as possible in England! Will need a climbing partner to lead me I easy routes or flat cycling. The golf clubs might also be in the car in case they’re needed, there are some excellent courses around there I used to go to in the 70s/80’s!!
Almost everybody has now paid, if you are one of the few who haven’t, please do so ASAP.
Also still 2 places available to cover the cancellations, if anybody wants a place. Please get in touch.

Be great if people could support Kial as he’s stepped in to lead this meet. Unfortunately we’re not around next week (on a narrow boat in Warwickshire). We do intend to be at Castle Naze the following week.
I’m sure some of you are desperate for a day out on the (easy) Rock.
