Yes we did, just before reaching Black Harry Gate. He opted to continue going the wrong way rather than joining us.

The date of the second Thursday walk (and the first one I did) was actually on 15 Nov 2012 (see the bottom of the Thursday walks page). There was fog at first and then it was sunny, mild and windless. The party of 10 comprised: Linda (leading) & David, Andy & Rosy, Martin & Pat, Marian, JB, Michelle Papworth and Tom Corker.

Hi Russ. As far as I know, the CMC Message Board has been
working well since we changed web hosting providers at the
end of June from Silicon Dales to Digital Nomads. Your
message about the Doune Castle walk, and the accompanying
photos can be found on the Message Board. In fact I am
replying to it now. The only thing that has not been sorted
out yet is the link which appears in each notification email
sent out when someone puts up a new topic or a reply to an
existing one. These links are supposed to take you to to
corresponding page on the Message Board but at the moment
are not working. Digital Nomads are investigating this. However
everything which should be on the Message Board is (unlike
the unsatisfactory situation before we changed web
