Pleasantly surprised to find so many (13) turn up in Eyam with such a rubbish weather forecast. Up through the trees to Eyam Edge and then to the trig at Sir William Hill (extremely windy). Coffee stop at Stoke Ford and then through the woods above Bretton Clough. Slightly unnecessary down and up again as rain set in. Lunch under trees at Nether Bretton and then a twisty and muddy descent from The Barrell pub down to the Eyam road. Some took the road back to Eyam, the rest of us went to look at Little Waterfall Swallet (will return on a better day) and then cut across to return across the fields via Eyam View. Thanks all for your company.
