A short walk of about five and a half miles. Meet at Hay Wood NT car park (just below the Grouse Inn, SK 255 777) for a walk down to Grindleford via a loop around Horse Hay Coppice, along the river northwards to Coppice Wood then return by Grindleford station and Tumbling Hill. Should be some autumn colours (and maybe a bit of mud). See you there?
