6 members ignored the weather and drove to Low Bradfield for some exercise in the rain.
We were soon walking up the hill to High Bradfield and into the woods beyond.
A steady descent then led to Agden reservoir with a beautiful walk through the pines by the water’s edge.Morning coffee was taken making use of a bench by the path as we left the reservoir, but sheltered by the woods.
Leaving the woods by Wilkin Hill, we continued over open ground and the descent to Dale Dike reservoir where we took the concessionary path along the north bank.We had lunch below trees on a slightly elevated bank above the reservoir.
Moving on through increasingly muddy conditions we reached the end of the reservoir and climbed the bank to join the Sheffield Country Walk below Coles Clough.
The Country Walk led us to Andrew Wood and on to Blindside Lane.
Finally after following Blindside Lane towards Annet Bridge, we joined the path leading back to Low Bradfield.
An enjoyable round,despite the conditions.
Thanks to the “select group” for your company and banter.
