Meet at the large car park just above Cutthroat Bridge on A57, GR 216874 for an 11am start. The route is approximately 7.2 miles and explores part of Bamford Moor, Bole Hill wood and High Neb Stanage, possibly including a couple of stone circles. (It will be amended if weather is particularly awful!) As the route is on access land but not always on rights of way on Bamford Moor, dogs are not allowed. Apologies.
Please note this is planned as a Thursday walk, not as a normally longer ‘New Years Day’ walk. If anyone would like to plan a longer walk, please do. Alternatively those wanting a longer walk could start earlier elsewhere eg Ashopton or Fairholmes maybe, and then join us at Cutthroat Bridge for 11am.
