Meet 10am in Litton by the Post Office (G.R.165751).
The route heads down Litton Dale to join Tideswell Dale and Miller’s Dale and will either continue through the Dale to Water-cum -Jolley or (if mud is an issue)take the escape route by. Cressbrook Hall.
From Water-cum-Jolley the route crosses the new bridge over the Wye to join the Monsal trail and contiues to Little Longstone.Various paths then lead across to Hay Dale from where a concessionary path leads to the summit of Wardlow Hay Cop.
The walk then ends with a descent into Cressbrook Dale and return to Litton via Tansley Dale.
Distance 10.5 miles approx.
