I’m dedicating this walk to complete my list of trigs of the Peak District, which has been a two year project.
The last trig will be at Ox Stones and I will be having a celebratory drink in The Norfolk Arms afterwards.
Along the route we will try and sing some carols at notable points (hill tops,trig points, caves, poles!).
Meet for 9.30am start at Porter Clough car park

Route may be boggy at the start but follows good paths for the majority of the way. Basic route Rud Hill, Stanage Pole, RH cave, Stanage End trig, Burbage Edge, Houndkirk to Oxstones and then Lady Cannings to pub/car park. To avoid road walk I may drop down and up into Porter Clough after pub but last bit very avoidable.
Distance approx 9.5-10 miles.
All welcome. And I look forward to plenty of festive cheer for the singing interludes.
