The walk on Saturday starts at Wetton Mill at 9.30 (GR: SK095561), going past Beeston Tor, over Throwley Moor to the bottom of Manifold valley and back via Grindon. It’s just under 11 miles. I did it last week and found it to be still fairly dry under foot (notwithstanding the rain this week!). There were a couple of fields with calves and parents in them, for those thinking about bringing a dog. Please let me know if you are going to come.
