This is a reminder about the walk next Sunday 1st February starting from Earl Sterndale.
Meet by the village green/church (Grid Ref 091670) at 10 am.

Since my previous Notice I have carried out a further recce to fine tune the walk and have added Hollins Hill which involves a small ascent from Booth farm .This small change not only adds another peak, but also gives access to a superb path along the long edge of Hollins Hill with spectacular views over to Chrome Hill on the other side of the valley below -before the final drop down to Hollinsclough.The extra distance is minimal.
The rest of the walk remains as advertised. Park House hill is “tricky” rather than treacherous and doable with care-but can be avoided by the path at its base if preferred.
Hopefully the weather will oblige (current forecast is reasonable). Parking in Earl Sterndale should be OK, but car sharing is advisable if possible. As mentioned, before I can provide a lift to a maximum of 3.
