Craigallan meet 13th February 2027 to night of 19th February
We have booked the Craigallan hut, owned by the Rucksack club, for nights of Saturday13th February 2027 to night of 19th February, leaving on Saturday 20th.
Hut details are at:
Craigallan overlooks Loch Linnhe and is situated about 2 miles from Ballachullish on the A828 to Oban; it is within easy reach of Glencoe and Ben Nevis.
Hut facilities include:
Well-equipped kitchen.
Dining room with log/coal burning stove and lounge with electric fire.
Drying room.
12 bunks in two rooms upstairs and overspill sleeping in the lounge for up to 6.
Toilets, urinals, shower and wash-basins downstairs and up.
Parking for approximately 8 cars and Overspill parking.
Camping is allowed when the hut is full; normal hut fee rates apply (see below).We have booked all 18 places.
Hut fees are:
Member of the Rucksack club £8.0 per night [7 nights, £56]
Associate member – £11.0 per night
Guest of Member/Associate Member and member of a club offering reciprocal rights (Kindred Club) eg Fell and Rock or climbers clubs. £14.0 per night
All other adults including club and individual members of the BMC/Mountaineering Scotland £17.0 per night.To book your place pay the appropriate fee to the Castle account, reference ‘your name’ and Craigallan.

This year’s February meet in Scotland was over-subscribed, so book now to ensure your place. We had to book the hut now to get it at this popular time.
