This notification follows on from Elen’s comments earlier on WhatsApp concerning various types of navigation
instruction she was proposing.
After discussion with Elen and other interested parties, Gordon and myself have agreed to run navigation courses
the first of which will be on Saturday 21st October. Full details of the course content, location [will be in the Peak Park]
and meeting time plus the date of a follow up course will be advised in due course.
In order to judge how many instructors we will need etc. can those willing to take part please WhatsApp me direct if you are able to make the 21st October.
The content will include all areas Elen has mentioned but if there are any other aspects you particularly require
instruction on eg. emergency procedures, group management etc. please advise accordingly.

Pete & GordonPlease note this Navigation day has had to be cancelled due to severe flooding in the Hope Valley.
We are running another one on the 25th November so if those that were booked for tomorrow wish to join us in November can you just confirm by Text to Pete on 07468 697805.
Look forward to seeing folk in November with a hope we get some improved weather. The start will again be at 8.30am
and the meeting place the same viz Edale’s main car park adjacent the station.
