The club is considering using a programme called Meetup to simplify information about meets – mainly by putting it all in one place. We are trialling this with climbing meets in August.
Please take part in the trial if you are asked. Following the trial, meet leaders and climbers who have attended meets will be sent a questionnaire for feedback. This will help us decide if we want to extend use of the programme.

There is a presentation on how to use Meetup this Saturday, 29th, in the club room, 7.0pm. This is for meet leaders and climbers to show how to publicise meet information and log on to meets, so we can run the trial. If you can’t attend this, a video will be available. Matt’s giving this presentation as part of his and Rosie’s role in reviewing club communications.

A description of the Meetup programme is attached. This is not a substitute for instructions on how to use it. This is covered in Matt’s presentation, but it gives you an overview of how it works.

The aim of the trial with climbing meets is to decide if we want to extend a trial to other meets. If we extend it, other groups will be asked to give feedback on its use.
If you are not involved in the trial using climbing meets, but want to give feedback anyway, please give this to any committee member.
