    Just south of Buxton, this generally N.W. facing limestone crag offers a wide range of grades, mainly sports climbing. It is in a big old quarry, extensive and in tiers. The upper tier has longer good quality routes.
    We plan to get there about 10.30am. Parking by the entrance to the health and safety executive, just past the industrial estate and go kart plsce.by the bus stop. At present forecast is mixed, so will post on Sat night, as the eastern Peak looks drier at the moment. Cheers Linda

    Weather looking ok, small chance of showers after 3pm.
    Will leave parking area around 10.30am and initially aim for the playground area as it is more sheltered and gets some sun. About 10 people so far I have said they plan to come.
